Our school day at Taylors Lakes Primary School begins at 8:55am and concludes at 3:10pm.
Our session times are as follows:
Session 1: 8:55am - 9:55am
Session 2: 9:55am - 10:55am
Recess: 10:55am - 11:20am
Session 3: 11:20am - 12:20pm
Session 4: 12:20pm - 1:20pm
Lunch in classrooms: 1:20pm - 1:30pm
Lunch Break (outside): 1:30pm - 2:10pm
Session 5: 2:10pm - 3:10pm
Term Dates
* Each year government schools are provided with four student-free days for professional development, school planning and administration, curriculum development, and student assessment and reporting purposes. The first day of Term 1 is a student-free day in all government schools to allow for appropriate planning to take place for the arrival of students.

School Attendance
IT’S NOT OK TO BE AWAYRegular Attendance at school is important. If your child misses the basic skills in Primary School they can experience difficulties with their learning. Regular attendance is essential to make sure learning is not disrupted.The school should be notified of the reason for a child’s absence.CanteenThe school canteen provides lunches five day per week. Parents write name, grade and order on a brown paper bag containing money. Children place this in a special grade basket which is taken to the canteen and returned with the made up order at lunchtime. Orders can also be made using Qkr.Canteen Price List 2021Early Collection of StudentsWhen you come to collect your child early from school you need to come to the office and collect an Early Leave Pass before you go to pick up your child from the classroom.
